What are the Testes?

Located next to scrotum the testicles are two egg shaped organs that are both apart of the reproductive system in males and act as glands in the endocrine system. At the instruction of the pituitary gland the testes produce and store sperm as well the male sexual & developmental hormones like testosterone. These hormones help the male develop more sex specific characteristics like a deep voice, broad shoulders, and more predominant body hair.
